Bumper tube ride at Sharm El Maya: what the day looks like

Hang on to an inflatable tube while a speedboat pulls you across the water. It's short, it's bumpy, and up to three of you can share one tube.

Life jackets are provided, and riders from age 4 can join. The ride itself is about ten minutes.

Rides go out from Sharm El Maya at 10:00, 12:00, 14:00 and 16:00, every day, and the slot is 1 hour. There's one ticket, Per person, at $26.21, for one ride, so book one for each rider.

Tube or banana? The banana boat ride at Sharm El Maya leaves from the same bay at the same times and seats up to six, so it's the one for a bigger group. The tube is for up to three of you holding on together.

In Naama Bay there are two more. The ringo tube ride goes across the bay behind a speedboat, at $29. Tube rides: double, triple or spiral lets you pick the shape of your tube, including one that spins.
