Ringo tube ride: what the day looks like

You sit in the ringo, the speedboat pulls, and you hold on. That's a tube ride.

It goes across a sheltered bay, with a spotter on board the whole way. The speedboat, its driver and life jackets are included.

There's one ticket, Standard, at $29 per person. It goes out at 10:00, 12:00, 14:00 and 16:00, every day, and the slot is 1 hour.

The tube ride has no hotel pickup. Make your own way to Pedestrians Road in Naama Bay.

The operator says the ringo is harder to stay on than the banana. If you'd like to try both, the banana boat ride gives you a run on each, banana first and then the ringo, for $29. If the ringo is all you're after, this is the one to book.

Still have time on the bay? Parasailing goes up from the same stretch of Naama Bay: eight to ten minutes in the air, solo or tandem. For a longer spell on the water, the private speedboat goes out to Tiran by the hour, just for your group.

In the app it's called "Ringo / Tube Ride".
