Beach horse riding at Nabq: what the day looks like
An hour on horseback along the shoreline north of Nabq. You ride in the shallows, where the sand is firm. The operator says the horses go as fast or as slow as you want.
A riding guide rides alongside you the whole way. The horse and tack are included, and so is a helmet. Beginners are welcome.
Pickup from your hotel is included, and you drop the pin for it when you book the ride. Rides start at 08:00, 09:00, 16:00 and 17:00, every day. The 17:00 ride finishes as the sun goes down, so pick that one for a sunset horse ride.
There's one ticket, Standard, at $44 for the ride.
Beach or desert? The desert horse ride uses the same horses inland, across the wadi, for $29. Pick the beach if you want the sea next to you. Pick the desert if you'd rather ride inland.
