Banana boat ride at Jaz Fayrouz: what the day looks like

The Naama Bay banana: you hold on as the speedboat pulls you across the bay, and you try to stay on through the turns. The ride itself is about ten minutes.

Life jackets are included, and so is instruction before you set off.

Two tickets, and they work together. Banana ride ($25) books one ride on the banana boat. Extra rider ($9) is for each other person joining a ride that's already booked. So a group books one Banana ride and adds an Extra rider for everyone else.

There's no hotel pickup. You start at the water sports centre at Jaz Fayrouz Resort, in Naama Bay. Rides go out at 10:00, 12:00, 14:00 and 16:00, every day, and the slot is 1 hour.

Other bananas? The banana boat ride, also in Naama Bay, gives you the banana and then the ringo on one ticket. The banana boat ride at Sharm El Maya seats up to six, priced per rider.

Staying on the beach? The tube rides go from the same centre and work the same way, with extra riders. Parasailing at Jaz Fayrouz, Naama Bay takes you up above the bay for eight to ten minutes.
